THE PROJECT

Creative Direction to Help Go-to Instructors for Celebrity & Fortune 100 Execs Remove the male gaze from wellness.

Over one year, DMC worked with soulsway (initially Free Body) to solve core messaging, positioning and packaging problems inhibiting the brand’s growth.

The creative direction was inspired by bold typography, abstract shapes, and a combination of imagery and illustration. DMC merged the idea of surrealism, today’s use of modern language through iconography and emojis, and quirky vibrant colors led in our phygital world.

Together, we rehabbed the brand from top to bottom, selecting a trademarkable name, identifying a strategic growth map, recreating the brand identity. Once we wrapped the recreation of the brand and website, we developed and set a creative and editorial direction for their core curriculum—resulting in 30 films for five online courses and a suite of storytelling videos for marketing and educational use.

Through our optical lift of the brand zelf. has gone from struggling for over a year to (a) close their 1st brand and (b) build out their advisor board  — to , within just a few months of launching our work together, having an A-list advisor roster and some of TikTok’s most exciting brands. They also just launched their next round of funding this week and are closing in on meeting their goal.
