We were so excited to continue to work with our favorite austin food blogger Jane Ko to tell a different type of influencer story for the collaborative video with UberEats. We worked with Jane to conceptualize a more meaningful way that UberEats can effect the day-to-day and decided to document her virtual date night with her boyfriend Eric. Their story of the long-distance relationship struggle is incredibly relatable and we were touched to be the ones to help her tell it. Jane (more commonly known as Koko) is the blogger behind A Taste of Koko, Austin’s top food and travel blog featuring the hottest restaurants and weekend getaways. She strives to inspire your inner foodie by guiding you to the most delicious finds in the city through mouth-watering food photography. A Taste of Koko is the official restaurant expert for Visit Austin TX.

Launched in 2010, A Taste of Koko has been featured in The Huffington Post, NBC’s iVillage, The Austin Statesman, Austin 360, Austin Woman Magazine, CultureMap, KXAN, Eat St., and more. A Taste of Koko has worked with numerous brands which include, but not limited to IKEA, Uber, KitchenAid, AT&T, Carnival Cruise Lines, Booking.com, PayPal, Lenovo, and more. She has been a speaker at South by Southwest (SXSW), Texas Conference for Women, BlogHer Food, University of Texas Austin, Google, and Whole Foods Global on entrepreneurship and social media. She also hosted the largest food crawl in Austin during SXSW with over 20,000 participants.

ABOUT UBEREATS

UberEATS is an on-demand meal delivery service powered by the Uber app. It is one of the first expansion products by Uber Technologies Inc., the technology platform that connects drivers and riders, and utilizes its existing network to deliver meals in minutes.The online food ordering service partners with local restaurants in selected cities around the world and allows customers to order meals using the Uber smartphone application. Delivery time is claimed to be 10 minutes or less.

UberEATS teams up with restaurants in different cities to offer a range of cuisines. The participating restaurants feature “signature dishes” that change daily.The delivery service has also featured pop-up restaurants with local celebrity chefs that do not have physical restaurants.Celebrity Chefs, like Michael Mina have partnered with UberEATS to promote their food.”
