RESTART CBD is consistently rated Austin’s #1 Cannabis dispensary. They are an education first CBD wellness brand. Founded in Austin, Texas by three sisters, we take the stigma out of using CBD, and created a comprehensive line of products with minimal ingredients for consumers to implement into a healthy routine to provide relief from everyday ailments.

The sisters behind the Top CBD brand approached Dos Mundos for a total level-up for their booming retail business, starting with a brand refresh & full rebuild of their ecommerce website.

With over 200 product SKUs changing the logo wasn't an option, so we had to take a "brand evolution" approach. Bringing in a more editorial design style along with product + lifestyle photography. All of which was done while dealing with the shift into the global pandemic and the constant changes in legislation around the promotion of Cannabis related products.

Full-Service Brand Creative Strategy Evolution, Phototography, eCommerce site overhaul.

We started our work with rebuilding an elevated set of branding guidelines, introducing new brand colors and fonts for digital use and creating an entirely different art/creative direction across branding, merch design and new custom iconography to help educate consumers o the difference between products.

Knowing that a complete redesign of the full 200+ product site in the cannabis industry would take some time, we started with something simple to improve sales in the meantime. We Updated the style guide of the existing site and reorganized the content a bit for easier usability. Next, we implemented new SEO to start driving traffic — all of which quickly impacted sales in a positive way. 

Our first stop was imagery — with involvement in the cannabis space growing at such a fast rate, we wanted all things Restart CBD to stand out from their competitors. Utilizing a more clean and styled way of capturing the Restart CBD products, culture, and the people who built it, we were able to tell the brand story through a new lens. Once we had imagery assets ready to be shown off, it was time to give them a place to live. 

Our team rebuilt the Restart CBD website from the ground up. We knew the most important piece of the puzzle was Ecomm optimization and driving even more users to the POS. The original site had an immense amount of content which we folded into a more organized and sporty web flow. Our design team produced an original bunch of iconography to depict product segmentation, allowing modern graphics and fewer web pages to do the talking. We listened and developed new ways to tell the story behind Restart CBD and it’s founders, giving users even more clarity around which product might be right for them. From there, we developed site visuals based on the art direction in our updated brand guidelines — tying each piece of the puzzle back into an edgy, modern experience of learning, shopping, and consuming Restart CBD.

The result was a 5x increase in ecommerce sales and an increase of almost 8x overall with web & retail within 1 year of working together.

We brought our brand & website to them (DMC) to help us elevate to the next level & they delivered!

Dos Mundos is nothing short of creative! We brought our brand and website to them to help us elevate to the next level and they did. Updating color pallets, crisp photography, new e-commerce site and new assets and templates to help us deliver consistency to our customers through our online profiles, web, and content has allowed us to continue to be seen as the leader in the space that we are. As we evolve, our brand needs to evolve too, and it was a fun process getting to partner with Dos Mundos to see that evolution be actualized.
